Hinsdale police reports, June 28-July 1

MONDAY, JULY 1

Underage Drinking

Elaina M. Zenino, 18, of the 5600 block of Lomond Avenue, Downers Grove, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by person under 21 and failure to wear a seat belt. Zenino was a passenger in a vehicle stopped at 55th and Garfield streets for not wearing her seatbelt by officers working a seat belt enforcement detail. She was observed to be under the influence of alcohol at 4:40 a.m. She was charged and released to appear in court.

FRIDAY, JUNE 28

DUI, Speeding

Tomasz M. Kogut, 32, of the 3500 block of North Osceola Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC greater than .08, speeding and driving an uninsured vehicle. Police at 11 p.m. pulled Kogut over on the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue for speeding, according to a report. He was observed to be under the influence of alcohol and submitted a breath test, which indicated his blood alcohol content was greater than .08. He was charged and released to appear in court.
