Thurlow Street Home Burglarized: Police Blotter

Hinsdale police reports, Aug. 26-Sept. 3

SUNDAY, SEPT. 2

Home Break-In

An unknown suspect forced entry into a home in the 800 block of south Thurlow Street between 1:01 p.m. Saturday and 4:01 p.m. Sunday, a timeframe during which nobody was home.

The burglar entered through a rear door. The resident had not discovered anything of significant value missing at the time of the report, though one bedroom had been ransacked.

Vehicle Burglary

A complainant reported that $12 in cash was stolen from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the 200 block of Meadowbrook Lane between 4 p.m. Aug. 25 and 10 a.m. Aug. 26.

There are no suspects.

MONDAY, AUG. 27

Bike Stolen

A $200 bike was stolen while it was parked unlocked in a bike rack in the 30 block of south Washington Street between 7 p.m. Aug. 24 and 7:02 p.m. Aug. 27.

There are no suspects.

SUNDAY, AUG. 26

Medication Stolen During Open House

A victim from the 500 block of Burr Oak Place reported to police that prescription medications from his home were taken during a real estate open house around 2 p.m.
