Theft of Hundreds of Dollars in Change, DUI Reported by Police

Theft—A victim from the 100 block of Harris Avenue reported that a 19-year-old immediate family member without authorized access to the victim's home stole a jar of change containing $200 to $300 on May 24, according to the .

The victim did not want to press charges, but police did write up a report.

DUI—Rose M. Pomerantz, of 712 65th St. in Downers Grove, was charged with DUI after she was observed to be under the influence of alcohol during a speeding stop in a construction zone near 55th Street and Route 83 at 10:20 p.m. May 26, and refused an ensuing breath test.

Pomerantz, 54, was charged with DUI and speeding in a construction zone and was released to appear in court.

In-state warrant—Keith E. Kleinmark, of 1271 Brookline Ct. in Naperville, was transported to DuPage County Jail after Clarendon Hills officers discovered there was a Will County warrant out for his arrest during a traffic stop for driving without a valid driver's license and registration at 4:13 p.m. May 30. 

The nature of the warrant out for the 51-year-old Kleinmark was not included in the police report. 

In-state warrant—Abraham Ofosuhene, of 193 Jeffrey Ln. in Bolingbrook, was arrested after Clarendon Hills officers discovered that there was a DuPage County warrant out for his arrest for failure to appear in court during a traffic stop for driving with one headlight, no insurance, and a suspended license near the intersection 55th and Oak Streets at 3 a.m. May 27.

Ofosuhene, 51, was charged by Clarendon Hills Police for the above-listed offenses and posted bond.
