Teen Driver with Two Passengers Arrested for DUI

Officers came upon vehicle after it struck a median trying to get on Route 83.

DUI—A 19-year-old Prospect Heights man was arrested by early Sunday morning for DUI after the suspect struck a median while trying to get on northbound Route 83 from 55th Street, according to the . Two passengers were also in the vehicle.

An officer came upon the stopped vehicle on the entry ramp at 3:10 a.m. and observed its three underage passengers, including driver Anton Finoguine of 214 N. Elmhurst Rd. in Prospect Heights, to be under the influence of alcohol.

Finoguine told the officer about the accident before submitting to a breath test that indicated his blood alcohol content was greater than .08. The suspect was charged with DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was ticketed and released with court information.

The two passengers—19-year-old Michael Morici, of 2019 E. Lilian Ln. in Arlington Heights, and 20-year-old Anton Aleksandrov, of 1517 Cedarwood Ln. in Wheeling—were ticketed for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, and then released.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia—A 19-year-old Clarendon Hills man was arrested late Sunday night at , in the 800 block of South Quincy, after officers found him to be in possession of a pipe used to ingest marijuana, according to Hinsdale Police.

Officers responded to a report at 11:20 p.m. of several people in the park after its 10 p.m. closing time. They then found Christopher Ellsworth, of 48 Chestnut St. in Clarendon Hills, to be in possession of the pipe. He was charged for possession of drug paraphernalia and violating public park hours, ticketed and released with a court date.

Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Crash—A male victim reported to Hinsdale Police that a white Chevy Astro Van struck his vehicle and another vehicle Friday afternoon in the 200 block of East Ogden Avenue before fleeing the scene.

According to the police report, it was a “property damage rear-end crash.” There were no injuries reported.

Telephone Harassment—A female victim from the 5800 block of South Elm Street reportedly received harassing text messages from an unknown suspect between 11 p.m. May 8 and 3:20 p.m. May 9 according to Hinsdale Police.
