Identity Theft

An unknown suspect opened a line of credit using a resident's information. The suspect charged $2,000 using the fraudulent account, according to police. The incident occurred on June 21 but was reported this month. A case is pending.

DUI, No Rear Plate Light

Kevin V. Freymann, 26, of the first block of South Washington Street, Westmont, was charged with DUI, DUI with a BAC over .08 and no rear registration plate light. Freymann was stopped at 1:55 a.m. at 55th and Quincy streets for not having a registration light and weaving within the lane, according to police. 

Freymann was observed to be under the influence of alcohol and submitted a breath test that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was charged and released to appear in court.
