Pricey Watch Missing
A resident from the 300 block of Ridge Road reported to police at 5:18 p.m. that a $16,000 watch has been missing from the home for several months, and thinks it was taken during November or December of 2011.
A maid was working at the home during that time period. The homeowner confronted the maid about the missing watch in December, but learned nothing about its wherabouts, police say.
The watch is a diamond-faced Chopard Snowflake ladies watch. The owner was filing an insurance claim, police say, and needed to report the incident to authorities.
