New Clarendon Hills Cop Sworn In

Colin Hutchens took the oath at Monday night's Clarendon Hills Village Board meeting.

The Clarendon Hills Police Department's newest police officer was sworn in at Monday night's Clarendon Hills Village Board meeting at Village Hall.

Colin Hutchens, 24, took the village's oath in front of numerous family members. The Grayslake resident was hired after completing the necessary physical and psychological examinations, interviews and background check.

Hutchens is a Michigan State University graduate with a degree in criminal justice. He was last employed by Lowe's in Naperville, where he worked in loss prevention.
