Theft from Motor Vehicle

Someone took about $5 in loose change from an unlocked car on the first block of Oxford Avenue, according to a report. The owner at 9:46 a.m. said the incident happened overnight.

Cocaine Catches Up to Woman

A female on Willowcreek Court said that she had some cocaine last night with her boyfriend and was not feeling well at 9:23 a.m., according to a police report. She was transported to the Good Samaritan Hospital emergency room in Downers Grove. A rolled-up dollar bill with residue was taken by police and given to the department's evidence technician to be destroyed.

Man Threatens Trespassers

An apartment tenant on the 200 block of North Richmond Avenue wrote in magic marker on his door that "any trespassers will be shot," according to a police report. The person reporting said neighbors are scared about this. An officer at 4:33 p.m. spoke with the tenant, confirmed that he didn't have a gun and told him to clean the marker off the door.

The man hasn't paid rent in months and the landlord wants him out, the report said. The man said they have to formally evict him and that he knows the law.
