SUNDAY, OCT. 14

Man Charged With DUI

Thomas C. Bouton, 32, of the 600 block of Hillside Drive, Hinsdale, was charged with DUI and battery, police said. He appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during a speeding stop near 55th and Garfield streets at 2:16 a.m. but refused a breath test, police said.

Deputy Chief Mark Wodka said Bouton made “assaultive statements” toward the officer booking him at the police station. After he was restrained, Bouton grabbed the hand of the officer—contact police said they considered to be “of a provoking nature.” The officer was not injured.

Bouton was charged with DUI, battery, speeding and improper lane use. He was released to appear in court.

Teen Charged With Underage Drinking

David Saenz, 18, of the 7200 block of Sprucewood Avenue, Woodridge, was charged with unlawful use of alcohol, police said. Officers called to a report of suspicious vehicles in the 500 block of Dalewood Lane said they saw Saenz urinating next to a parked car at 10:36 p.m. and found him to be under the influence of alcohol.

Saenz submitted to a breath test, which showed there was alcohol in his system. He was charged and released to appear in court.

THURSDAY, OCT. 11

3 Charged With Pot Possession

Three 17-year-old boys were charged with possession of less than 30 grams of cannabis after police said they found the teens with the drug at Burns Field around 10 p.m.

One of the juveniles was from Burr Ridge, one was from Willowbrook and one was from Indian Head Park. The Burr Ridge teen attempted to run away from police and was also charged with resisting/obstructing an officer.

The teens were released to their parents.
