Jewelry, Gun Stolen During Hinsdale Burglary Tuesday
The burglary took place between 12:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on 7th Street.
An unknown burglar took jewelry, silverware and a gun from a home in the 10 block of East 7th Street in Hinsdale Tuesday afternoon, according to Hinsdale Police.
The burglary took place between 12:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. The burglar entered through a rear garage entry door.
The gun was later recovered in Clarendon Hills.

Police say a witness saw three white men with medium-toned skin around 40 years old running from the area of the burglary into a black Kia Sorrento that took off northbound on Garfield Street.
"Residents in the area who may have any video surveillance footage from a private residential video surveillance system in the area are encouraged to contact the Investigations Division at (630) 789-7070," a police department release reads. "Home surveillance videos have aided investigators in previous investigations and increase the likelihood of identifying and apprehending burglary suspects."
