Jeep Stolen From Owner's Driveway: Police Blotter

Hinsdale police reports, June 24-30

SUNDAY, JUNE 30

Burglary

Someone forced open two windows at a school and gained access to the courtyard on the 500 block of North Elm. The incident occurred sometime between 1 p.m. June 24 and 6:30 a.m. June 30, according to police. Nothing appeared to be missing and there was no other damage done. The cost to repair the window was estimated at $100.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26

Stolen Jeep

Someone took a woman's 2007 Jeep Liberty from her driveway, police said. The incident occurred sometime between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. on the 300 block of East Fuller Road. The Jeep is thought to have been taken by a known suspect that was the woman's guest at the residence, according to police. The Jeep is a silver four-door model and is valued at $8,000. A case is pending.

MONDAY, JUNE 24

Invisible Fence Damaged

A woman reported that her invisible dog fence was damaged on the 400 block of North Bruner Street. The incident occurred sometime between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., according to police. A wire from the fence was dug up and cut in various spots by a known suspect. The fence was valued at $2,000.
