SUNDAY, AUG. 11

Damage at Pitchin' Kitchen

An electrical room door was damaged and forced open at the Pierce Park Pitchin' Kitchen, police said. The incident occurred sometime between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Damage to the storage and concession doors was observed, but nothing was reported missing. A case is pending.

THURSDAY, AUG. 8

Bike Taken

An unlocked girls Trek mountain bike was stolen from a bike rack on Washington at Hinsdale Avenue, police said. The incident occurred sometime between 4:45 p.m. and 9 p.m. A case is pending.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 7

Stolen Motorcycle

A blue 1994 Honda VT1100C motorcycle was taken from the first block of Spinning Wheel Road, police said. The incident occurred sometime between Dec. 1, 2010 and Jan. 31, 2011. The report did not indicate why the theft was recently reported after more than two years. The estimated value for the motorcycle was unknown.

MONDAY, AUGUST 5

Craigslist Caper

Someone who purchased a MacBook Pro and a 32GB iPhone 5 on Craigslist for $850 never received them on the first block of West Second Street. The items were to be shipped overnight, according to police. A case is pending.
