Hinsdale Man, 48, Dead After Oak Brook Car Crash
The accident took place along Salt Creek on Spring Road early Sunday morning.

A Hinsdale man is dead after a one-car crash in the area of Spring Road and Salt Creek Circle in Oak Brook at 12:04 a.m. Sunday, according to a press release from the Oak Brook Police Department.
The DuPage County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as 48-year-old Thomas Fitzsimons. Fitzsimons was a passenger in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to an area hospital.

A cause of death for Fitzsimons has not yet been released by the coroner's office.
The Felony Investigative Assistive Team conducted the crash reconstruction and investigation, according to the Oak Brook police press release.
