Dumpster, Port-a-potty Gift Wrapped in Clarendon Hills

Possession of cannabis and deceptive practice have also been recently reported by the Clarendon Hills Police Department.

Criminal defacement—A port-a-potty and dumpster located at a Lions Club Christmas tree sale in the 100 block of Byrd Court were covered in wrapping paper some time between the night of Nov. 28 and the afternoon of Nov. 29, according to the . 

The wrapping paper was glued on and was difficult to remove. Several residents who live on the block said they did not see who gift-wrapped the dumpster and toilet, but noticed the objects were covered at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 29. 

Possession of cannabis—Mark D. Molaro, of 336 55th St. in Downers Grove, was found to be in possession of cannabis during a traffic stop at 55th Street and Western Avenue at 12:59 a.m. Nov. 19.

The 52-year-old was cited for speeding and possession of cannabis.

Deceptive practice—A male victim in the 200 block of Oxford Avenue lost close to $300 in fraudulent debit charges. All three of the charges took place overseas. The fraud was reported on Nov. 26.
