DUI, Theft of Jaguar Hood Ornament Reported by Clarendon Hills Police

DUI—Rory Ramirez, of 3920 Liberty Blvd. in Westmont, was arrested when it was determined he was under the influence of alcohol after being caught speeding and disobeying a traffic signal on westbound Ogden Avenue near Richmond Avenue at 3:07 a.m. Feb. 19, according to the .

Ramirez, 44, was charged with DUI speeding, disobeying a traffic signal, and driving with a revoked license. 

Theft from motor vehicle—A victim from the 500 block of Chase Drive reported to police at 3:50 p.m. Feb. 19 that a $300 Jaguar hood ornament was taken from their vehicle.

Burglary of motor vehicle—A GPS device, iPad charger, and approximately $12 in cash was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 200 block of Holmes Avenue at an unknown time between Feb. 12 and Feb. 20.

The total value of the missing items is around $162. The burglary was reported to police on Feb. 20.

Burglary of motor vehicle—A complainant from the 500 block of Willowcreek Court reported to police that her minivan was burglarized while it was parked unlocked in the complainant's townhome driveway between 10:30 p.m. Feb. 16 and 9 a.m. Feb. 17. 

Missing from the minivan was a makeup bag, a Lifetime Fitness membership card, and $2 in change. 

Lost article—A Clarendon Hills woman believes she misplaced a $1,500 watch while walking her dog in the 400 block of Ridge Avenue between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Feb. 14.

Clarendon Hills police advised anyone who has found a watch not belonging to them to alert the department.
