TUESDAY, JAN. 1

Speeding Driver Charged with DUI

Vincente Vidana, 55, of the 600 block of 4th Street, Aurora, was charged with DUI after he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during a speeding stop near the intersection of Ogden and Woodstock avenues at 4:13 a.m., and failed ensuing breath test, police said. He was released to appear in court.

Hinsdale Man Drives on Suspended License

Matthew R. Dube, 30, of the 200 block of North Adams Street, Hinsdale, was charged with driving on a suspended license and registration after he was stopped on a registration check near the intersection of Route 83 and Chicago Avenue at 12:30 a.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.

No-Valid-License Charge for Wisconsin Woman

Marisol Hernandez, 34, of the 1400 block of East Racine Avenue, Waukesha, WI, was charged with driving without a valid license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle after she was stopped for driving with one headlight near the intersection of Ogden and Oxford avenues at 8:57 p.m., police said. She was released to appear in court.

SUNDAY, DEC. 30

Man Caught Driving Without Valid License

Elmer Ramos, 24, of the 100 block of Bridget Court, Bensenville, was charged with speeding and driving without a valid license after a traffic stop near the intersection of Route 83 and 56th Street at 11:57 p.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.

THURSDAY, DEC. 28

Fishtailing Driver's License Suspended

Jonathon Vaughan, 22, of the 25400 block of South Friar, Channahon, was charged with driving on a suspended license and making an improper turn after he was caught fishtailing near the intersection of Walker Avenue and 55th Street at 1:03 a.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.

DUI for Man Not Wearing Seatbelt

Mark A. Teteak, 38, of the 200 block of Fuller Lane, Bolingbrook, was charged with DUI after he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during a stop for not wearing a seatbelt near the intersection of Western Avenue and 55th Street at 9:59 p.m., and failed an ensuing breath test, police said. He was released to appear in court.
