DUI, Cannabis Possession: Police Blotter

Hinsdale police reports, May 7-12

SUNDAY, MAY 12

DUI and Speeding I

Trevor T. Andrews, 27, of the 25600 block of Shoal Creek Drive, Monee, was charged with the following:

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol
  • Improper lane usage
  • Driving while license suspended
  • Speeding

Police at 2:18 a.m. stopped Andrews at 55th Street and Camberly Court for speeding and improper lane use, according to a report. He was observed to be under the influence of alcohol and refused a breath test, police said. He was charged and released to appear in court.

FRIDAY, MAY 10

Obstructing ID, Revoked License

Ahmad S. Masoud, 25, of the 4900 block of West 84th Place, Burbank, was charged with obstructing justice, driving while license revoked and a stop sign violation. Masoud was stopped at 11:21 p.m. for failing to stop at a stop sign on the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue, according to police. "(Masoud) admitted to using false identification in an attempt to conceal that he was driving with a revoked license," police said. He was charged and released to appear in court.

Cannabis, Drug Equipment Possession

A 17-year-old girl from West Chicago was charged with possession of cannabis less than 30 grams and possession of drug equipment, police said. The girl was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for improper lane use at 1:58 a.m. on Route 83 north of 31st Street. She was in possession of cannabis, drug equipment and also prescription pills without a prescription, according to a report.

TUESDAY, MAY 7

DUI and Speeding II

Joel R. Harrison, 44, of the 700 block of Westfield, St. Charles, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC .08 or more, speeding and improper lane usage. Police at 10:08 p.m. stopped Harrison at 55th and Quincy streets for speeding, according to a report. He was observed to be under the influence of alcohol and submitted a breath test which indicated his blood alcohol content was greater than .08. He was charged and released to appear in court.
