Hinsdale police reports, April 7-8

MONDAY, APRIL 8

DUI, Failure to Yield

Debra L. Rehling, 59, of the 7800 block of Darien Lake Drive, Darien, was charged at 10:50 a.m. with driving under the influence with a BAC over .08 and failure to yield at a stop intersection. Rehling failed to yield at the two-way stop intersection at the Lane and County Line Road and caused a traffic crash, according to police. Rehling was observed to be under the influence of alcohol and submitted a breath sample that was over .08. She was charged and released to appear in court.

DUI Alcohol

Evan A. Ciner, 29, of the 12000 block of Center Drive, Lemont, was charged at 2:43 a.m. with driving under the influence of alcohol. Ciner had stopped on the shoulder of southbound Route 83 at 55th Street when a police officer went to check on him. Ciner was observed to be under the influence of alcohol and refused to submit to breath testing. He was charged and released to appear in court.
