SUNDAY, MARCH 17
DUI
Hesham El Defrawy, 48, of the 200 block of West 59th Street, Hinsdale, was charged with DUI, DUI with a BAC greater than .08, driving while license suspended and improper lane use. Police stopped El Defrawy at 3:03 a.m. on the 5600 block of South Madison Street for improper lane use when he was observed to be under the influence of alcohol. He submitted a breath sample with a BAC over .08, was charged and released to appear in court.

Cannabis Possession, DUI
Emmanuel A. Salazar, 26, of the first block of Palmer Court, Bolingbrook, was charged with DUI, possession of cannabis, speeding and driving too fast for conditions. Police stopped Salazar at 2:46 a.m. at the intersection of Route 83 and Ogden Avenue for speeding when he was observed to be under the influence of alcohol.
Salazar refused to give a breath sample. He was found to be in possession of a green leafy substance that field tested positive for cannabis. He was charged and released to appear in court.

DUI
Mary A. Hornik, 27, of the 4600 block of South Harding Avenue, Chicago, was charged with DUI, DUI with a BAC .08 or more and speeding. Police stopped Hornik at 2:46 a.m. at the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Elm Street for speeding when she was observed to be under the influence of alcohol. She submitted a breath sample with a BAC over .08, was charged and released to appear in court.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13
Credit Card Fraud
Someone made two unauthorized charges totaling $4,300 on a credit card of a resident from the 100 block of Symonds Drive. The charges were made sometime on March 12.
