Clarendon Hills Man Charged With Marijuana Possession: Police Blotter

SATURDAY. AUG. 17
DUI Alcohol
Benjamin Dahlin, 30, of the 5000 block of Concord Lane, Clarendon Hills, was charged with the following:
- DUI alcohol
- DUI with a BAC over .08
- No insurance
- Speeding

Backyard Marijuana Incident
Kevin Hammortree, 55, of the 100 block of Mohawk, Clarendon Hills, was charged at 5:41 p.m. with possession of cannabis less than 30 grams at his residence. Police were called to Hammortree's home because someone saw marijuana plants growing in the backyard, according to a police report.
Police arrived and saw the plants, which were then seized. Hammortree was charged and released on an I-bond at the scene with a Sept. 26 court date, police said.

MONDAY, AUG. 12
DUI Alcohol
Arturo Sosa-Lopez, 21, of the 200 block of North Richmond, Clarendon Hills, was arrested at 3:52 a.m. in a parking lot outside his residence. He was charged with the following:- DUI alcohol
- DUI with a BAC over .08
- No insurance
- No driver's license
- No headlights
