Catalytic Converter Cut
An unknown thief cut the muffler and catalytic converter off of a vehicle parked in the Adventist Hinsdale Hospital parking garage between 3 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. on Jan. 16, police said.
The stolen items are valued at $200. The case is currently pending.

TUESDAY, JAN. 14
Cable Account Fraud
An unknown person used the personal information of a resident from the 400 block of West 2nd Street to open a cable account and run up an outstanding balance of $809 between Jan. 1 and Jan. 14, police said.
The victim was notified of the balance by a collections agency. The case is currently pending.
