Carol Stream Man Charged With DUI, Obstructing an Officer

Luis M. Rodriguez gave Hinsdale police officers false identification information to avoid arrest for a prior warrant.

A Carol Stream man was arrested by Hinsdale police in the early-morning hours of April 23 for DUI after providing officers with false identification information to avoid arrest.

Officers stopped Luis M. Rodriguez, 30, at 2:09 a.m. at the corner of 55th and Madison streets for failure to wear a seat belt. After the officers observed Rodriguez to be under the influence of alcohol, the suspect failed field sobriety tests and refused to submit to a breath test.
