SUNDAY, SEPT. 30

Chicago Man Charged With DUI

Jeffrey S. Carlson, 27, of the 3700 block of north Hermitage Avenue, Chicago, appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop near the intersection of Garfield Avenue and 4th Street at 1:51 a.m., police said. He refused an ensuing breath test.

Carlson was charged with DUI, speeding and improper lane use, and was released to appear in court.

Hinsdale Woman Charged With DUI

Mackenzie Nicholson, 21, of the 5500 block of south Park Avenue, Hinsdale, appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop in the 900 block of south Garfield Avenue at 2:32 a.m., police said. She failed an ensuing breath test.

Nicholson was charged with two counts of DUI and making an improper turn. She was released to appear in court.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 29

Car Vandalized During Homecoming Dance

Someone slashed a tire of a car parked in the Hinsdale Central faculty parking lot and put shaving cream on its window between 8:50 p.m. and 10:20 p.m., during the school's Homecoming dance.

An estimate of the damage was not available at the time of the report. Police said the car belonged to a student who was attending the dance.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 27

Darien Man Charged With Pot Possession

Anthony E. Klecki, 25, of the 2100 block of Dartmouth Lane, Darien, was charged with possession of less than 30 grams of cannabis after he was found with the drug during a traffic stop in the 5900 block of South County Line Road at 5:21 p.m., police said.

Klecki was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug equipment. He posted bond and was released to appear in court.

TUESDAY, SEPT. 25

Phone Threat Received

A patient at ManorCare, 600 W. Ogden Ave., reported receiving a threatening phone call from a known suspect at 10:15 a.m. Sept. 25. The case is currently pending.

Car Damaged

Someone did $500 worth of damage to a windshield wiper of a vehicle parked in the 300 block of west 57th Street between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
