Assistance for Intoxicated Man

An officer at 11:47 p.m. gave a man a ride home after he unsuccessfully tried to find his sister's house after drinking. Someone called police and said the man was stumbling around at the corner of McIntosh and Burlington avenues.

Sorry, Officer

A Clarendon Hills woman came into the police station at 4:53 p.m. with her son to speak to a specific officer. The son apologized for lying to the officer over the summer when he accused three boys of robbing him, according to a report.

Don't Blanket the Town with Your Signs

An officer removed a total of 18 signs throughout the village advertising aeration and seeding with a 630-area code phone number. Police in all removed 21 signs — 13 on the north side of town, and eight on the south side. The signs will not be returned without issuing two citations, one for posting of bills on each side of the village.
