Hospital Talk Gets Heated
A 62-year-old woman visiting Adventist Hinsdale Hospital reported an incident of assault to police after her 47-year-old brother made comments of a threatening and alarming nature while the pair argued about the medical treatment of their mother, a patient at the hospital, police said.
The incident was reported at 8:15 p.m., and the case is currently pending.

SUNDAY, JULY 21
DUI
Mark J. Rittenbacher Jr., 25, of the 6400 block of Double Eagle Drive, Woodridge, was charged with DUI at 6:50 a.m. after police followed up on a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 5600 block of South Elm Street and found him inside and observed him to be under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Rittenbacher refused a breath test. He was released to appear in court.
