$600 in iPods Stolen from School, St. Paddy's DUI: Police Blotter

SUNDAY, MARCH 17

St. Paddy's Day DUI

Maureen Hipskind, 49, of the 5500 block of Childs Avenue, Hinsdale, was charged with DUI, police said, after appearing under the influence of alcohol during a 12:53 a.m. traffic stop related to failure to signal near 55th and Quincy streets and failing an ensuing breath test. She was released to appear in court.

iPods Stolen from School

Two iPod Touches worth a combined $600 were stolen from Prospect School classrooms between Feb. 21 and 27, according to a March 13 report. The devices were located in teacher desk drawers, police said. There are no suspects. Fifteen dollars in cash was also taken.
