Hinsdale Obituaries: Ralph C. Gasior, 51

Ralph C. Gasior, 51, of Hinsdale, was the son of the late Joseph and the late Ruth (nee Schuetz) Gasior, brother of Laura (Robert) DeCelles, Janet (Anthony) Lombardo, Barbara, Paul and John Gasior, and uncle of Frank (Mary Ray) Lombardo, Gabrielle (Jeffrey) Simmons and Adrianna Lombardo and Joseph Gasior. Mr. Gasior graduated from Hinsdale Central High School and Augustana College, and performed at the Children's Theatre of Western Springs. A 10 a.m. memorial mass is scheduled for Jan. 18 at St. Isaac Jogues Church in Hinsdale. Donations in Ralph's memory to the Children's Theatre of Western Springs are encouraged. An obituary for Mr. Gasior was published in the Chicago Tribune on Jan. 12.
Eudora Young "Dody" Payne, 88, formerly of Hinsdale, died Dec. 28 at her home in Owensboro, KY. Preceded in death by her husband, Henry Berry Payne, Ms. Payne is survived by her children, Elizabeth Anne (Lan) Payne Sefton, Thomas Alexander Payne and Mary Penelope (Nell) Payne of Washington, D.C., and her three grandchildren. From 1956 to 1984 Ms. Payne was a resident of Hinsdale, where her children went to elementary school. A reception for Ms. Payne was held on Jan. 2, and a burial service was held on Jan. 3. An obituary for Ms. Payne was published by The Doings in its Jan. 9-15 edition.
Caroline Crescencia Laursen, 96, of Whitewater, WI, and Hinsdale, died Jan. 11 in Whitewater. She and her late husband, Einar William Laursen, owned Laursen's TCC (Trailers, Campers, Campground) on Whitewater Lake from 1975 to 1989. She is survived by her three sons—Paul (Carol), Glenn (Mary Ellen), Bruce—and one daughter, Karenmarie (Bill) Meyer. Ms. Laursen has 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She's preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son William. A visitation will take place Jan. 16 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Adolf Funeral Home in Willowbrook. A funeral service will be held Jan. 17 at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Hinsdale, with prayers at 9:15 a.m. and mass at 10 a.m. An obituary for Ms. Laursen was published in the Chicago Tribune on Jan. 14 and Jan. 15.
