Clarendon Hills Obituaries: Charles Warner Lankton, 85

Charles Warner Lankton, 85, died on Oct. 28. Mr. Lankton was a resident of Indian Head Park, and a former resident of Clarendon Hills. Husband to Joyce B. Lankton, Mr. Lankton was father to Karen A. Oliver, Barbara S. Bassett, and Ruth Ann Harvey. He was the grandfather to nine and great grandfather to 10. He was preceded in death by wife Thora M. Lankton and brother Richard K. Lankton. A memorial service took place Nov. 2 at Community Presbyterian Church in Clarendon Hills. Donations to the Alzheimer's Association are encouraged. An obituary for Mr. Lankton was published in the Chicago Tribune on Nov. 1.
