Uniquely Thursdays Concerts in the Park Kick Off June 16

The events are on the lawn in Burlington Park, where the grass is soft, you can throw down a blanket and let all your worries go.

Uniquely Thursdays Concerts will be in its ninth season as a Hinsdale tradition!

My family loves to go the concerts on Thursday nights in Hinsdale. What I like most is that the events are on the lawn in Burlington Park where the grass is soft, you can throw down a blanket and let all your worries go.

My kids really like that they can cut loose in front of the stage, dancing, sinking and maybe playing a little tag!  They can chase the balloons and eat popcorn and just be kids.  We usually pick up a pizza on the way, pick out a couple of items from the local venders and have our dinner on the blanket.  They sell beer, wine, sodas and usually some ice cream or smoothie type drinks.  It seems we always get caught up in conversations with old friends and end up staying until way past the ending.

Uniquely Thursdays is just a really nice place to relax.  What makes towns like Hinsdale unique, is they have these picturesque, safe downtown areas with lots of green space for community gatherings like this.
