kourture is starting the week off with an amazing individuals, Raymond Murrell of US Cellular of Darien, for our 3rd Favorite Things of Christmas!! kourture had the pleasure of meeting Raymond 7 years ago (with my amazing Mom) and he forever changed our world of customer service, kindness, patience and knowledge!!

Some may be questioning my logic on featuring an individual from big business, rather than small business. I assure you my logic is 100% in line and my reasoning is all about the small business approach, feel and comfort!!

From the moment of meeting Raymond Murrell, the greeting was as if you were walking into a friend’s home. He was unbelievably accommodating, courtesy and his approach is all about helping the customer and not “what can I sell you”. Raymond took a big business position and made it a small business approach and the 7 years faithfulness from us…definitely shows it pays off!!

The reason I wanted to feature Raymond Murrell, besides all of the amazing things I have mentioned…is because I wanted to recognize that he is someone that has always gone above and beyond, treated each customer as the one only one and his undivided attention and efforts to help, resolve and accommodate. There is no problem too big or small for Raymond, and he always follows through to get it resolved. And in a world where people always say they will do something, but rarely follow through…this is a true gift!!

From the past 7 years of working with Raymond, the experience has been out of this world and I truly admire Raymond for his amazing business smarts. There has never been a feeling of ever having a stupid question, being a bother, too busy to help show “how to do something” and most important…has never talked down to my Mom or me. And on that note, that is sometimes very hard to find in the field of electronics, as some do not know how to treat others that are not IT savvy.

In conclusion to why kourture absolutely loves Raymond Murrell….he is the epitome to customer service and his intelligence in taking a “big box position” and making the customer feel a “small business approach” is truly brilliant!! Not only is Raymond is an absolute pleasure, blessing and asset, but we would be lost without him!!  US Cellular has always had amazing service, quality and unbeatable pricing and concepts…but Raymond is truly who makes it all happen and delivers this to the customer in the most understandable, kind and professional way!!
