Dillard receives ‘Champion of Free Enterprise’ distinction from the Illinois Chamber of Commerce

In recognition of State Sen. Kirk Dillard’s pro-business, pro-job creation legislative voting record on June 12 Saima Durrani with JP Morgan Chase bank in Downers Grove presented Dillard with the Illinois Chamber of Commerce’s “Champion of Free Enterprise” award during the Downers Grove Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon at Seven Bridges Golf Club in Woodridge.

Dillard said he was honored to once again receive the award from one of the state’s leading business representatives in recognition of his ongoing support for Illinois’ employers.

“Illinois is a great state to live and used to be a great state to do business—which is why it is intolerable that we continue to lag the rest of the nation in job growth,” said Dillard. “Seeking new ways to promote private sector job creation has been my top priority, whether it’s through the creation of laws that reduce red tape for employers, or by advocating for a balanced budget and comprehensive public employee pension reform. We need to make Illinois a ‘destination economy’ for employers once again—and in order to accomplish that we must support our job creators!”
