Annual "KICK" Soccer Tournament Raises Record High for Charity

On Sunday, September 22, 2013, 66 members of the Hinsdale Central High School Soccer Program came out to participate in their annual Kick It in for Chicago Kids (“KICK”) Soccer Tournament at the Hinsdale Central tennis courts.  All funds raised go directly to Schools Count Corp., which provides much needed school supplies for students in Chicago-area schools.   A good time was had by all.

After the afternoon event, many families headed to Chipotle in Westmont for an additional Schools Count Corp. fundraising event.  The lines were out the door and an additional $407 was raised.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of families and local businesses, plus the participation of the soccer players, KICK raised an unprecedented $7,750 which will be used by Schools Count Corp. founder, Dick Flesher, to provide for the children that his organization serves.
