Zoolights Spectacular at Lincoln Park Zoo – FREE Holiday Fun Lightshow runs through January 6th, 2012!!

Lincoln Park Zoo’s annual tradition of Zoolights began on November 23rd and will run every weekend (Friday-Sunday) through December 26th. This is an amazing free light show at Lincoln Park Zoo, a holiday tradition for many!! If you can’t make it before December 26th, 2012, the lights will remain on nightly through January 6th, 2013.

FREE Christmas Caroling at “The Chicago Bean” aka Cloud Gate now through December 21st, 2012!! (recently extended!!)

Free Caroling at Cloud Gate: Friday, December 14th, 2012 6pm to 6:50pm (Note: Performance may be shorter due to extreme cold conditions)

Celebrating its 7th season, Caroling at Cloud Gate aka The Bean, returns on Friday evenings from November 23 through December 21, 2011 at 6 pm during the holiday season. This amazing free program, presented by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, in partnership with the Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture, showcases Chicago choral groups

Two of the four choral groups scheduled to lead the caroling this year are the Apollo Chorus of Chicago and the Wicker Park Choral Singers. The other two groups will be announced later in the month. Following the 50-minute caroling session, everyone is encouraged to skate at Millennium Park’s McCormick Tribune Ice Rink, one of the most popular winter destinations in the city.

Celebrating its 10th Season and is FREE & Open to the Public – McCormick Tribune Ice Rink is open and will remain open till mid-March!!
