Community Corner

Home Alone Class at the Clarendon Hills Park District

The Clarendon Hills Park District's popular "Home Alone" class for boys and girls ages 5-8 returns to the Community Center from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11.  This program is designed for children who are interested in helping out with younger siblings, are ready to stay home for brief periods of time and for boys and girls interested in babysitting when they are a bit older.  The class is taught by an American Red Cross instructor and reviews home safety, use of keys, handling emergencies, dealing with strangers and house rules.  There is a $35.00 resident fee ($44.00 non-resident) to participate in the program.
