Gingerbread House Building at the Clarendon Hills Park District

The Clarendon Hills Park District has scheduled the first of its two "Gingerbread House Workshops" for the 2013 holiday season between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.  This popular family holiday event will be held at "Chefs For A Day," 858 75th Street in Willowbrook.  The program is open to boys and girls ages 5 and up and an adult.  Each group will be provided with a beautiful pre-baked gingerbread house, along with candles, cookies, marshmallows and snow people to be used as decorations.  There is a $45.00 fee per family which includes the gingerbread house and all items used in decorating.  Please register in advance at the Clarendon Hills Park District Community enter, 315 E. Chicago Avenue.
