Free foot screenings offered at New Balance in Oak Brook on Sept. 14

During a time of year when many locals are taking advantage of the 
still-warm weather to run, walk and be active outdoors, two Lemont 
podiatrists are offering a free foot screening session to help
community members with their ailments.

On Saturday, September 14th, Lemont podiatrists Dr. Michelle Kim and Dr. Diana Emini will offer free foot screenings at New Balance's Oakbrook Terrace location at 17W490 22nd St. 

The foot screening is open to the public with no appointment or advance 
registration necessary. Doctors will be available at the store from 1 
to 3 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis for those who may be 
experiencing foot and ankle issues as a result of running, walking, 
sports, diabetes, aging and more.

Doctors Kim and Emini – who own and operate DM Foot and Ankle Associates at 14236 McCarthy Road, Lemont – are donating their time to meet with locals, talk to them about foot or ankle issues and advise them if they need to seek a doctor's care.

Those who attend the foot screening will receive a gift bag complete with information and coupons good at DM Foot and Ankle Associates. New Balance is also offering a 10 percent discount on purchases during 
the event.

As podiatrists, the physicians specialize in diagnosing and treating 
disorders of the foot, ankle and lower leg. Podiatrists have
