Home Alone Class at the Clarendon Hills Park District

The Clarendon Hills Park District's popular "Home Alone" class for boys and girls ages 6-10 will be held from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16 at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue.  This class is ideal for the child who will soon be ready to help out with younger siblings, stay home alone for brief periods of time, or is just ready to assume more responsibility. Topics covered include: safety in the home, use of keys, handling emergencies, strangers and house rules. An American Red Cross instructor is the teacher for this program.  Cost of this class is $35.00 for residents of Clarendon Hills and $44.00 for children living in nearby communities. Advance registration at the Community Center is required.
