This training will provide the participant with a basic overview of response activities associated with public health emergencies, specifically a bio-terrorism event.

No special expertise is required. All you need is a desire for helping others and your community. We recognize that in a disaster, private/public partnerships and volunteers must come together to successfully safeguard our communities.

The training is specifically designed to orient both the public and the credentialed volunteer to mass dispensing operations during a public health emergency.

Volunteering:

Is a great opportunity to network with community stakeholders and organizational leaders.

Assists college students with the ability to gain practical experience.

Develops a sense of community.
