Judging for the Clarendon Hills Park District's annual Holiday House Decorating Contest will take place between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18. A team of merry elves from the park district will be touring the town on this wintry night, looking for homes with twinkling lights, wreaths, garlands, as well as Santa Claus and snowmen displays. Gift certificates to J. Fleming's Absolutely Delicious in Westmont will be awarded to the top three homes. Please call the Clarendon Hills Park District, 630-323-2626, before 5 p.m. on December 18 to enter this competition -- this holiday activity is entirely free of charge! The only rule of the Holiday House Decorating Contest is that homeowners are responsible for the installation of all decorations. Seasons greetings from the Clarendon Hills Park District!
