Couples & Cancer- Dinner Workshop

As Wellness House develops the new Family Preservation Program for couples affected by cancer, staff members Lisa Kolavennu, Clinical Director, and Alison Graft, Program Associate, had the unique opportunity to consult with nationally recognized expert, Dr. Julie Gottman, co-founder of the Gottman Institute in Seattle, WA.

In this workshop based on The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work by John M. Gottman, PhD, couples will begin to learn tools to deepen the friendship foundation of their relationship, manage conflict successfully, honor each other’s dreams and create shared meaning.  Whether married or in a committed relationship, you are welcome to enjoy dinner and learn tools and skills to strengthen your relationship.This program is intended for those that have not already attended the Couples & Cancer Dinner Workshop at Wellness House.
