Clarendon Hills Park District Rainbow Club Sets Starved Rock Trip

The Clarendon Hills Park District's Rainbow Club for active adults ages 50 and better will journey to the Starved Rock Lodge on Tuesday, Nov. 12 for a "Tribute to the Andrews Sisters" show.  The vocal trio, The Legacy Girls, will entertain with three part harmonies, costumes and synchronized dances that are true to the Andrews Sisters style.  A delicious hot lunch buffet will be served before the show, and there will be time to explore the lodge and magnificent foliage at Starved Rock.  The $68.00 registration fee covers motor coach transportation, the show and lunch.  Please register at the Clarendon Hills Park District Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue, on or before Tuesday, Oct. 15.  This trip is a cooperative program with the Darien Park District, with the tour leaving from Westwood Park in Darien at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 12.  Rainbow Club travelers will return to the area by 5:30 p.m. For more information, please call the Clarendon Hills Park District at 630-323-2626.
