Babysitter Training Class at the Clarendon Hills Park District

The Clarendon Hills Park District's all day Babysitting Class for current and future babysitters ages 11-15 will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 12 at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue.  This class is a "boot camp" offering an educational and fun look at infant and child care, child development, home safety, handling emergencies, and building a babysitting business.  Participants who attend the entire day of the program will receive American Red Cross certification in babysitting.  There is a $69.00 resident ($86.00 non-resident) to participate in this class.  All babysitters are asked to bring a lunch and beverage to this program.  Advance registration at the Community Center is required.
