Were You Affected by Sunday's Storm?: Monday's Morning Report

1. Patch has heard that there were some power outages in Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills after the severe storm that whipped through DuPage County Sunday. Have you been affected? Do you have pictures of the storm? Email joe.odonnell@patch.com with any information or tell us about it in the comments.

2. The high temperature will hit 96 degrees and there's a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Monday, according to the National Weather Service. Heat index values will rise as high as 103. Monday night, partly cloudy skies and a low of 75 are expected.

3. The Village Board meets Monday night at Village Hall. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. and its full agenda can be found here on the village's website.
