Weekend Weather: Winter Temps Stick
The snow that fell Thursday won't be melting Saturday or Sunday.
There's not a huge chance of new snow this weekend, but temperatures will stay below freezing, keeping Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills powdery Saturday and Sunday after Thursday's accumulation.
Here's your weekend weather, according to the National Weather Service:
Saturday

There's a 20 percent chance of snow during the day Saturday after noon. Skies will be mostly cloudy and the high temperature will top out at 21 degrees. Wind-chill values, however, will dip down as low as -2.
Saturday night, the chance for snow ups to 30 percent before midnight. The clouds will stick around and the low temperature will fall to 14 degrees.

Sunday
No precipitation in the forecast for Sunday. Skies will be mostly sunny and the high temperature will reach 30 degrees. Winds will blow between 5 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Sunday night, skies will be partly cloudy and the low will dip to 27 degrees, heading into Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
