Week in Review: Fox’s Pizza Coming to Hinsdale; Resident Loses $14,000 Out of Accounts

Patch looks back at five of the most read stories from the week of June 18 to June 22.

  1. : Karen Kindt of Hinsdale is looking to housesit in Hinsdale for 10 days for no fee, so she can be out of her own house while it is cleaned and she can start medical treatment for  a syndrome that leaves her unable to process toxins.
  2. :  A 21-year-old Hinsdale woman was arrested by police investigating an incident in which she struck a man. Bridget Anne Kelly was charged with domestic battery, aggravated battery of a police officer and resisting/obstructing an officer. Police said she shut the door of a squad car on a police officer’s leg, preventing him from leaving the vehicle, police said.
  3. :  The Hinsdale Village Board voted 4-0 June 19 to approve a site plan for Fox's Pizza to open at 777 N. York Road in Gateway Square and host live music, with some stipulations. Live music must remain within the establishment and no speakers may be placed outside.
  4. : A resident of the 300 block of east Chicago Avenue reported June 13 that someone the previous day opened savings and checking accounts using the victim’s information and transferred $14,000 out of an existing account.
  5. : The Village of Clarendon Hills is seeking interested residents to serve on an electric aggregation advisory committee that would assist the village evaluate different aggregation consultants and alternative suppliers.
