Wednesday's Morning Report: Beautiful Weather Continues

Get over the hump with a few important items from Patch for Oct. 5.

1. The high temperature will reach 76 degrees Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service, and skies will be clear and sunny as the fall warm-up continues. Wednesday night, the low temperature will drop to the low 50s and skies will stay clear.

2. Wednesday is International Walk to School Day, meant to encourage safe routes to school, promote exercise, and show the environmental benefits of walking instead of driving. In District 181, schools are embracing the event with walks around their grounds and special ceremonies before school starts. 

3. Wednesday in l Red Devils sports: Girls Golf, IHSA Regional at Seven Bridges Golf Club in Woodridge, 8:30 a.m.
