Wednesday's Morning Report: Plan Commission to Meet

Get over the hump this week with these important items from Patch.

1. The Plan Commission is back in action Wednesday. The group meets at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Hall. See the meeting's full agenda here. On the agenda is a facade-improvement presentation by the occupants of 53 S. Washington St.; one of those occupants is downtown Hinsdale's new retailer, J McLaughlin.

2. Skies will be sunny Wednesday with a high near 49 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Wednesday night, there's a 30 percent chance of snow showers after midnight. The low temperature will dip to 29 degrees.

3. The Book Club meets Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. at the museum's 15 S. Clay St. location. The subject of this post-holiday meeting is The Battle for Christmas by Stephen Nissenbaum. A $10 donation gets you a full year in the club. Refreshements will be served. .
