Uniquely Thursday Kicks Off in Hinsdale: Thursday's Morning Report

The weather should be very accommodating for the summer concert series' 2012 opener.

1. The Uniquely Thursday concert series in Hinsdale opens Thursday night for the first of 10 concerts in . Paparockzzi will play the first show, which will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for more info.

2. The weather should be great for the Uniquely opener. Skies will be sunny during the day Thursday and the high will reach 84 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Thursday night, skies will remain mostly clear and the low will fall to 62 degrees.

3. The Crosstown Classic Blood Drive is going on Thursday at Adventist Lab Partners Blood Center, 121 N. Elm St. in Hinsdale. Donors will have a chance to enter a raffle that will give away two tickets to a Cubs-Sox game next week at U.S. Cellular Field. "Come out, donate blood and vote for your team," reads.

4. The is opening its Daisy Dales Book Sale Thursday morning at 10 a.m. "A wide variety of books, DVDs and CDs will be available for sale at rock-bottom prices," reads. The sale will run through Monday afternoon.
