Thursday's Morning Report: Free Coffee, Free Wine

The weekend is getting close; get closer with a few important items from Patch.

1. It's National Coffee Day and 7-Eleven is celebrating with All 7-Eleven stores in the Chicago area will offer free medium-size cups of coffee from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. In the evening, swing by  for its weekly free wine tasting at 5 p.m.

2. There's a 40 percent chance for more precipitation during the day Thursday, according to the National Weather Service. Skies will be partly sunny with high of 71 degrees. Winds could blow as hard as 35 mph. The chance of showers goes down to 20 percent Thursday night, the temperature will drop to 48 degrees, and wind gusts may reach 40 mph.

3. Thursday in Red Devils sports: Girls Golf vs. Naperville North at Springbrook Golf Course, 4 p.m.; Boys Cross Country vs. Glenbard West at , 4:30 p.m.; Girls Cross Country at Glenbard West, 4:30 p.m.; Girls Volleyball vs. Willowbrook, 6 p.m.
