Thursday's Morning Report: Clarendon Hills Goes "Glee"

The weekend is getting close; get one day closer with these important items from Patch.

1. Beginning Thursday afternoon is Glee-I-Fied, the 's "choreographed vocal ensemble" program modeled after the popular TV show Glee. Middle-school participants will rehearse two Thursdays each month at the park district's 315 Chicago Ave. location and put on two to three community performances each school year. Participation costs $78 per month. . 

2. There's a 100 percent chance of snow Thursday after 9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service, with accumulations of 3-5 inches expected. The snow will continue into Thursday night with winds gusts as high as 30 mph. The low temperature will fall to 14 degrees and the wind chill will dip to -2.

3. The will host a "Demystifying eBook Downloads" class Thursday night from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. According to the library's website, reference librarian Mike Oetting will walk attendants through the process of downloading the library's collection to a tablet.
